Visitation and Quarantine Protocols

Carespring recognizes that connection with your loved ones is essential. It is our goal to facilitate visitation at our locations to enhance these connections. With that in mind, we have created the graph below to allow our families and team members a quick reference to determine the visitation status at a particular Carespring location. Nursing Home New Admission & Re-Admission14 Days Q-UnitPatients can be co-horted with similar admission dates. Current guidelines prohibit visits when patient is in quarantine or isolation.
Nursing Home ER Visit OnlyN/APatient must be out of initial quarantine cycle. Resume prior quarantine schedule if patient was in quarantine when sent to ER.
Nursing Home Doctor AppointmentMedical Transport: N/A Family Transport: 14 Day Quarantine In Usual Patient RoomPatient must pass COVID screen. Patient wears mask during visit and transport.
Nursing Home Therapeutic Leave14 Days Q-UnitVirtual Visit support available
Nursing Home Dialysis or Other Repeating Medical ServiceContinuous Quarantine in usual patient room.Patient must pass COVID screen. Patient wears mask during visit and transport. Patients in continuous quarantine are approved to follow visitation guidelines.
