CMS Vaccine Mandate

Currently, Center for Medicare Services requires that all team members receive a COVID-19 vaccination.  Should you meet the criteria for exemption from this CMS ruling, you can submit for an accommodation using the links below.

Here are 3 easy ways to find out.

  1. Ask at your facility for the next clinic date.
  2. Text your zip code to “438829” and a list of local vaccine providers will be sent to your phone from vaccines.gov.
  3. Visit vaccines.org.

Should the rule be reimplemented there will continue to be 2 available exemptions.

  • The Medical exemption, as defined by CMS, only applies if there is a clinical contraindication or precaution to receiving the COVID-19 vaccine (example – an allergy to the ingredients within the vaccines). Additionally, one may receive a temporary medical exemption for 90 days following monoclonal antibodies, convalescent plasma or a case of severe COVID-19. Having had COVID-19 or the antibodies are NOT medical exemptions. These are CMS & the Biden Administration’s rules – not Carespring’s.
  • The Religious exemption is for just that, your sincerely held religious belief. Religious exemptions are not political views, personal views regarding COVID origin, vaccine development or effectiveness.

These forms are linked on this page. For further assist team members can request consult with department head.

If you intend to request an exemption from the vaccination requirement, we encourage you to do so well in advance of the deadlines noted above.

We will continue to monitor these requirements and will provide additional information if necessary.
