News | November 2, 2026

At Carespring, our dedication to providing exceptional, compassionate post-acute and long-term care is at the heart of everything we do. We are thrilled to announce a major milestone in our ongoing quality journey: five of our locations were recently honored with the prestigious Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award at the national AHCA/NCAL conference!

Because National Quality Awards are held for three years, these five facilities now join our other Carespring locations—meaning 100% of our care centers are nationally recognized for quality, with Hillspring and Dayspring holding prestigious Silver Quality Awards and all other communities awarded Bronze!

This national distinction from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) signifies a formal, organization-wide commitment to continuous improvement and delivering the highest standard of care.

  • Villaspring of Erlanger
  • Highlandspring of Fort Thomas
  • Coldspring Transitional Care Center
  • Sycamorespring of Miamisburg

A Journey Rooted in Quality and Organizational Excellence

The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program is a rigorous, three-level progressive process evaluated by trained healthcare experts against the national standards of the Baldrige Performance Excellence Framework.

As the foundational step in this quality improvement journey, the Bronze – Commitment to Quality Award requires organizations to demonstrate a clear organizational profile outlining key elements—including their vision, mission, community customer base, core strengths, and proactive operational strategies. Moving up the framework, achieving a Silver Quality Award requires demonstrating systematic, sustainable quality improvements across operational and clinical processes.
